Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) needed for team-based primary care in Locust Grove, GA. The provider will treat pediatric and adult patients in outpatient settings, participate in a collaborative care model with cross-trained care management and population health teams, and utilize an optimized EMR (Athena) with telehealth capability and a virtual scribe via Suki to reduce administrative burden. Requires graduation and certification from an accredited PA program, current/unrestricted license or eligible for licensure, DEA registration or eligibility, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility, and BLS or ACLS certification. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care, value-based care principles, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary network across VillageMD, Village Medical, Summit Health, CityMD, Starling Physicians, and related entities. Prefer 2+ years of outpatient experience. Flexible scheduling and leadership engagement are highlighted as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
