Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) in a team-based primary care setting in Locust Grove, GA. Provide outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients across acute, chronic, and preventive health needs. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive health histories and physical exams, managing a diverse patient panel, and collaborating with cross-trained care-management and population health teams. Utilize an optimized EMR (Athena) with telehealth capabilities and a virtual scribe (Suki) to reduce administrative burden. Participate in flexible scheduling and engage in leadership-supported clinical activities, including 1:1 leadership time, practice meetings, and town halls. Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited PA program, hold or be eligible for an active license, possess DEA registration or be eligible, and be certified in BLS or ACLS. Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult patients and experienced with outpatient care workflows and telehealth integration.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- DEA registration or be eligible for registration
- Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant (preferred)
- Ability to treat pediatric and adult patients with comprehensive health histories and physicals
