Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) needed to join a team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. Role involves outpatient primary care for pediatric and adult patients within a network-focused, value-based care model. Requires graduation and certification from an accredited PA program, active license or eligibility, DEA registration or eligibility, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility, BLS/ACLS certification, and comfort with Athena EMR and telehealth tools. Collaborative environment with leadership support, cross-trained care management, and virtual scribe assistance to reduce administrative burden. Flexible scheduling and patient-centered care across ages; prior outpatient experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
