Physician Assistant - Family Medicine

Outpatient Physician Assistant in family medicine working under a collaborating physician to provide comprehensive care in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include taking detailed histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting imaging and labs, instructing patients on treatment regimens and pre/post operative instructions, maintaining records and progress notes, following patients through treatment, collaborating with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies per protocol. Emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education within an autonomous, interdisciplinary clinical team.
