Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic data to establish presumptive diagnoses. Administer injections, immunizations, medications, and wound sutures while providing patient education and recommending community resources. Accurately document all encounters, maintain patient confidentiality, and collaborate with supervising physicians using established guidelines. Remain calm under pressure in high-stress or emergency situations, working extended hours and alternate weekends. Maintain professional grooming, attend training sessions, and participate in ongoing professional development to uphold certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as an APRN, NP, or PA (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret instructions and apply learned concepts in real-world scenarios
- Competency in relevant medical calculations
- Ability to perform effectively in high-stress or emergency situations and during irregular hours
- Willingness to work in settings involving exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Compliance with HIPAA standards
