Job Summary
Physician Assistant to join ENT group at New Providence; handle a multi-venue role (OR, ER, hospital floor, and office) with direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnosis, care planning, implementation of treatment, coordination of preoperative patient care, ordering tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday (days), with no weekends or on-call. Requirements include PA degree from an accredited program, NJ license or eligibility, ACLS/BLS certification, and 1-2 years of surgical experience with OR First Assist and ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred. Strong communication and computer skills, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
