Job Summary
Physician Assistant sought to join ENT group at New Providence (Atlantic Health System) in Northern New Jersey. Role spans multi-venue direct patient care (OR, ER, hospital floor, office) with responsibilities including assessments, diagnosis support, care plans, and treatment implementation. Outpatient duties include coordination of preoperative patient care, ordering tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday (days), with no weekends or on-call. Key duties and scope: OR support, inpatient and outpatient care, coordination of preoperative processes, and collaboration with board-certified surgeons in a busy ENT/Surgical setting. Requires PA degree, NJ licensure or eligibility, ACLS/BLS, and 1–2 years of surgical experience; ENT or subspecialty experience preferred; strong communication/computer skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
