Job Summary
Physician Assistant sought for ENT group in Northern New Jersey affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. The candidate will perform a mix of direct patient care in OR, ER, hospital floor, and office, including preoperative coordination, ordering tests, and preoperative clearances. Responsibilities encompass assessments of health status, contributing to diagnoses, developing plans of care, and implementing treatment for both inpatient and outpatient settings. Outpatient duties include coordinating preoperative care and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday (days), with no weekends or on-call required. Qualifications include a PA degree, NJ licensure eligibility, ACLS/BLS certification, 1–2 years of surgical experience (OR First Assist and ENT/sub-specialty experience preferred), and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
