Job Summary
Physician Assistant in an ENT group in New Providence, NJ. The role involves multi-venue direct patient care (OR, ER, hospital floor, and office) with responsibilities including assessments, diagnosis support, care planning, and implementation of treatment. Outpatient duties include coordination of preoperative patient care, ordering tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, no weekends, and no on-call required. Requires PA degree, NJ licensure eligibility, ACLS/BLS, and preferred 1–2 years of surgical experience along with OR First Assist and ENT/sub-specialty experience. The team collaborates with experienced board-certified surgeons in a busy practice affiliated with Overlook Medical Center within Atlantic Health System. Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
