Job Summary
Physician Assistant to join the ENT group at New Providence (affiliated with Overlook Medical Center) for a full-time, multi-venue role spanning OR, ER, hospital floor, and outpatient office settings. Responsibilities include direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient contexts, health-status assessments, diagnostic collaboration, care plan development and implementation, coordination of preoperative patient care, ordering tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday-Friday (days), with no weekends and no on-call required.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
