Job Summary
Physician Assistant to support ENT group across multi-venue settings (OR, ER, hospital floor, and office) performing assessments, participating in diagnosis and care plans, and implementing treatment. Outpatient responsibilities include coordinating preoperative care, ordering tests, obtaining preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday (days), with no weekends or on-call required. Requires PA degree, NJ licensure eligibility, ACLS/BLS certification, and preferred 1–2 years of surgical experience with OR First Assist and ENT/sub-specialty exposure. The role involves direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings and collaboration with board-certified surgeons in a growing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Team player
