Job Summary
Physician Assistant to join the ENT group at New Providence in Northern New Jersey. The role involves multi-venue responsibilities (OR, ER, hospital floor, and office) with direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include assessments of health status, diagnosis support, development and implementation of plans of care, and coordination of preoperative patient care, tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday (days), with no weekends and no on-call required. The ideal candidate will work with experienced board-certified surgeons, have OR experience, and be comfortable in an operating room setting. A PA degree from an accredited program, NJ licensure or eligibility, ACLS and BLS certification, and 1–2 years of surgical experience (ENT or subspecialty preferred) are required. Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
- OR First Assist experience preferred
- ENT or surgical sub-specialty experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
