Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical dermatology care by performing thorough skin examinations, diagnosing and treating disorders such as acne, eczema, and skin cancers, and conducting minor surgical procedures including biopsies and cryotherapy. Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications within your scope of practice, and educate patients on skin health and preventive care. Collaborate with supervising physicians, maintain accurate medical documentation, and work within a multi-specialty environment. Requires a New York State PA license, board certification, and at least one year of clinical dermatology experience. Full-time or part-time scheduling available with competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State PA License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Physician Assistant
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical dermatology
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating skin conditions
- Performing skin exams
- Performing biopsies
- Performing minor surgical procedures
- Familiarity with dermatologic pharmacology
- Familiarity with treatment protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team
- Full-time or Part-time (At least 3 days a week)
