Job Summary
Physician Assistant for medical dermatology in a Bronx, NY multi-specialty practice. Provide comprehensive medical dermatology care, perform skin examinations, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers), and perform minor procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe therapies within the PA scope, educate patients on skin health, and maintain accurate medical documentation while collaborating with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State PA License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical dermatology
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating skin conditions, performing skin exams, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures
- Familiarity with dermatologic pharmacology and treatment protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team
