Job Summary
Physician Assistant with Geisinger ConvenientCare seeks autonomous clinicians to diagnose and treat common urgent-care conditions (sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, UTIs, wellness services) with rotating shifts (14/month), no overnight or mandated extra shifts. Work under physician supervision, in a large multi-site health system, with access to resources, a patient-centered care approach, scrubs attire, and a comprehensive benefits package including relocation assistance. Requirements include graduating from an ARC-PA‐accredited PA program, PA licensure in PA, NCCPA certification or eligibility, and a minimum of six months of relevant clinical experience across primary, emergency, urgent, or critical care settings. Benefits extend to full- and part-time roles with day-one coverage and opportunities for academic preceptorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Preferred)
- ARC-PA approved PA program complete (or predecessor)
- NCCPA certification or eligibility
- PA state licensure (Pennsylvania)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Certified Physician Assistant - NCCPA (or eligibility)
- Minimum six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care experience
- Ability to treat patients from age one and older
