Job Summary
Physician Assistant will work under physician supervision in Geisinger ConvenientCare (urgent care) with autonomous practice, treating patients aged 1+ across common urgent care problems (sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, UTIs, etc.), including routine exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. 14 rotating shifts per month with no overnights or mandated extra shifts. Independent clinical decision-making with limited admin burden; access to Geisinger resources and a strong team; scrubs attire; eligible for relocation and comprehensive benefits (401(k), CME, etc.). Academic opportunities via advanced practice preceptorship. Located in PA service areas with travel/relocation options; full-time and part-time positions available with day-one benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Preferred)
- ARC-PA program completion or equivalent
- NCCPA certification or eligibility
- PA licensure in PA or eligibility for PA license in PA
- BLS Certification
- Experience: six months in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care (minimum)
