Job Summary
Conduct clinical research trials involving gastroenterology, neurology, vaccines, and general internal medicine while ensuring the safety and welfare of each study subject. Screen potential subjects based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, perform medical history interviews and physical examinations, and review EKGs and lab results. Provide necessary medical care during participation and attend Investigator Meetings on behalf of the Principal Investigator as needed. Maintain home-based on-call availability per standard policy. This onsite role in Chesterfield, MO, supports Headlands Research's mission to enhance clinical trial delivery across 20+ sites, with a focus on diversity in participant demographics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed family or non-acute adult nurse practitioner or physician assistant treating a wide variety of therapeutic areas for the adult and geriatric patient population
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Missouri
- Prior experience within the clinical research industry
- Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent communication, punctual and responsible
- Extremely well organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
- Mature and pleasant demeanor
- Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
- Onsite in Chesterfield, MO (no opportunities for remote or hybrid)
- Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am-5:00pm
