Job Summary
Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery: Join Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID as part of a team performing adult cardiac surgery and robotic thoracic procedures. Responsibilities include acting as a first assist in cardiac and thoracic operations, managing the CVICU and step-down unit, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support high-volume open-heart, thoracic, TAVR, and MitraClip procedures. The role supports a growing multispecialty group and participates in cutting-edge clinical research and program development. A $20,000 sign-on, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits are offered; schedule includes initial five 8-hour shifts for ~3 months, then four 10-hour shifts per week. Requirements: Idaho PA license, Idaho CS registration and DEA, vein harvest experience, and prior cardiac disease management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Vein harvest experience
- Previous Physician Assistant experience in cardiac disease management
