Job Summary
Physician Assistant needed to support Cleveland Clinic Martin Hospital's Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Responsibilities include managing cardiothoracic surgery patients across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases; performing evaluations; placing orders; maintaining EMR documentation; assisting in the operating room for CABG (endoscopic and open vein and radial artery conduits), valve repair/replacement, and aortic aneurysm/dissection surgeries; cross-coverage for thoracic cases (including esophagectomies and lung resections via VATS); and clinic duties such as office visits, patient/family education, and follow-up care.
Required Qualifications
- Active PA license in good standing
- Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
- Proficient in EMR documentation
- Ability to assist in operating room for CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysm/dissection
