Job Summary
Per Diem Physician Assistant to join the Inpatient Cardiology team for 10-hour day shifts at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton, MA. The PA will practice autonomously at the top of their licensure, consult on hospitalized patients and conduct daily rounds, order and interpret diagnostic tests, present/evaluate patient cases with attending physicians to develop treatment plans, participate in discharge planning and complete discharge summaries, and educate patients and families. Requires a Master’s degree for PA and a state PA license, with a minimum of two years of cardiology experience (inpatient preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree Physician Assistant
- PA license in good standing (State License)
- 2 years of cardiology experience, preferably in inpatient setting
