Job Summary
Per Diem Physician Assistant to join the Inpatient Cardiology team for as-needed coverage with 10-hour day shifts at Newton-Wellesley Hospital Main Campus. The PA will practice autonomously at the top of their licensure, consult on hospitalized patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, present and discuss evaluations with attending physicians to develop treatment plans, participate in discharge planning and discharge summaries, and educate patients and families. Requires Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant, state PA license, and at least 2 years of cardiology experience (inpatient preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree Physician Assistant
- Physician Assistant (State License) - Generic - HR Only required
- 2 years of experience as a PA required
- Minimum of two years of cardiology experience required, preferably in an inpatient setting
