Physician Assistant, Cardiology

Per Diem Physician Assistant for Inpatient Cardiology at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on the Mass General Brigham system. The PA will practice autonomously at the top of their licensure, conduct daily inpatient rounds, order and interpret tests, discuss evaluations with attending physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans, participate in discharge planning and summaries, educate patients and families, and perform bedside procedures as appropriate. Requires ongoing direct patient care in an inpatient cardiology setting, with responsibility for histories, physicals, diagnostic interpretation, care planning, medication orders, and timely documentation. Position is on 10-hour day shifts and based at the Newton, MA campus; prior cardiology inpatient experience is preferred.
