Job Summary
Per Diem Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Cardiology team for as-needed coverage with 10-hour day shifts at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The PA will practice autonomously at the top of their licensure, consult on hospitalized patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, present and discuss evaluations with attending physicians, participate in discharge planning and complete discharge summaries, and educate patients and their families. Requires Master’s degree for Physician Assistant, PA state license, and two years of PA experience (cardiology/inpatient experience preferred). The role supports high-quality, patient-centered cardiology care within the Mass General Brigham system.
Required Qualifications
- Education:Master's Degree Physician Assistant
- Licenses and Credentials: Physician Assistant (State License) - Generic - HR Only required
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a PA required
- Minimum cardiology experience: Minimum of two years of cardiology experience required, preferably in an inpatient setting
