Job Summary
Physician Assistant in the Cardiac Cath Lab at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative evaluations, inpatient consults and follow-up care, and pre-arrival telehealth assessments, within a multidisciplinary team, supporting diagnostic procedures and emergency interventions in a rotating 13-hour shift schedule. Requires NYS PA license with NCCPA certification, ACLS/BLS, DEA with NY opioid prescriber training, and cardiology experience; on-site presence required with commuting distance to NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
- Current NYS PA license
- NCCPA certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- NYS Infection Control certification
- DEA certification with NYS opioid prescriber training compliance
