Job Summary
Assist urologic surgeons in the operating room, perform inpatient rounds for consultative and post-operative care, and independently evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient clinic under the supervision of board-certified urologists. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of urologic services while supporting efficient patient flow, continuity of care, and optimal clinical outcomes as an integral member of the multidisciplinary urology care team. Requires current South Carolina Physician Assistant Licensure, minimum 3 years of PA experience, and knowledge of Family Practice, Internal, and Urologic medicine to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- current South Carolina Physician Assistant Licensure
- Minimum 3 years work experience as a Physician Assistant
- Knowledge relating to Family Practice, Internal, and Urologic medicine
- understanding of surgical and medical treatment of diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, bladder, ureters, urethra) and male reproductive system
- Able to diagnose and treat conditions like kidney stones, urinary tract infections, bladder cancer, prostate issues, and male infertility
