Job Summary
Lead PA/Associate in an urgent care clinic acting as clinical leader for staff, mentoring new-grad providers, and delivering patient-centered care. Responsibilities include performing health assessments, exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, administering injections and immunizations, wound management, counseling patients, documenting in EMR, ensuring infection-control compliance, collaborating with the care team, and providing mentorship and professional development for clinic staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) certifying body
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Relevant experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting preferred
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
- Proactive communication and patient-focused care
- Technically proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Understanding of pharmacology and patient care processes
- Preceptor experience for new provider staff
