Job Summary
Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant sought to provide care in Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Clarksville, TN. Responsibilities include medical assessment and treatment of patients across ages with acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures (laceration repair, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, abscess I&D), managing on-site labs and imaging, ensuring adherence to medical policy and quality standards, and participating in staff education and policy development. Requires active APRN/PA license, FNP/PA-C board certification, DEA license or eligibility, DOT certification or willingness to obtain, and BLS. Schedule is full-time with 36-40 hours/week and rotating weekday shifts with every-other weekend; PRN option also available. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active state license as an APRN or PA
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
