Job Summary
Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and minor trauma in collaboration with a physician. Educate patients and families on preventive care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments while maintaining accurate, confidential medical records. Order diagnostic tests as appropriate and prescribe medications within scope of license. Document all evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and consultations while facilitating record reviews per protocol. Promote health maintenance through counseling on positive behaviors and self-care skills. Requires current PA license, Master's degree, and strong communication skills. Monday through Friday schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Must enjoy working with adult to geriatric patients
- A PA degree from an accredited school or University
- Master's degree in PA*
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Master's Degree as a PA
