Job Summary
Anesthesiologist (BE/BC) to join Sanford Health South University Department of Anesthesia in Fargo, ND. Core privileges include history and physical examinations and comprehensive management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain during surgical procedures; dedicated orthopedic practice; no weekends, holidays, or call. Academic appointment available through UND School of Medicine. Privileging and credentialing will govern scope of practice; relocation allowance provided. The role supports hospital-based anesthesia care within a large rural health system with physician benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certification in Anesthesiology or completion of residency fellowship accepted with requirements
- Active involvement in anesthesia practice and credentialing standards (e.g., 200 anesthesia cases in last 24 months)
- Successful completion of residency/fellowship in Anesthesia (ACGME/AOA/RCPSC or equivalent) with potential grandfather provisions
