Physician - Anesthesiologist

Opelousas General Health System seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia for diverse procedures (Ortho, Spine, OB/GYN, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Gastro, Ophthalmology) with general anesthesia as the focus. Responsibilities include handling 8 operating rooms with a daily caseload of 20-40 cases, collaborating with 9 CRNAs, and supporting an ICU/PCU environment. The role features a 6:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, 12 on/9 off call pattern (post-call departure by 10 AM on off days), and opportunities to participate in teaching medical students.
