Job Summary
Treat patients at NMG and affiliated hospitals, offices, and health care facilities as determined by the President or designee. Maintain a clinical schedule on necessary days, hours, and locations to provide timely medical services. Teach medical residents, fellows, students, nurses, and other health care providers as required. Provide on-call coverage as reasonably needed. Refer patients requiring specialized care to specialists and network providers, respecting patient preferences and medical judgment. Participate in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities. Ensure compliance with billing, documentation, and related policies. Perform other duties consistent with employment and assigned by the President or designee.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree
- Treatment of patients at NMG and such hospitals, office locations and health care facilities
- Maintaining a clinical schedule on such days, such hours, and at such locations
- Teaching of medical residents, fellows, medical students, nurses and other health care providers
- Providing on-call coverage
- Referring patients requiring specialized medical care to those specialists and other health care providers and facilities that are members of NMGs affiliated provider network
- Regular participation in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities
- Compliance with billing, documentation and related policies, procedures, systems and practices established by NMG as payors with which NMG contracts
- Background check authorization and disclosure form completion
