Job Summary
Physician-Anesthesiologist needed to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. Board-Certified or Board-Eligible; collaborate with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service, plus call responsibilities. Provide anesthesia across diverse surgical specialties including OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry, with 24/7 OB service. Enjoy a collegial environment with experienced providers, access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR, and strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system. Anticipated schedule includes regular rotations with 2 other Anesthesiologists working 1 out of every 3 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
