Job Summary
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist needed to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, Maine. Role includes medical direction with CRNAs across 3 sites, diverse surgical coverage (OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry), 24/7 OB service, collaboration with Epic EMR, and a schedule with rotations involving two other Anesthesiologists (1 out of every 3 weeks). Requires MD/DO, Maine license (or ability to obtain), and DEA license (or ability to obtain). The environment emphasizes strong patient-provider relationships within a community health system and a work-life balanced practice.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
