Job Summary
Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist sought to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. Medical direction model: collaborate with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service, plus call responsibilities. Diverse surgical specialties include OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry. 24/7 OB service. Collegial environment with experienced providers and outstanding support staff. Access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR. Strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system. Anticipated schedule: Regular rotations with 2 other Anesthesiologists working 1 out of every 3 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
