Job Summary
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist sought to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. Role involves medical direction with 3 CRNAs across 3 sites, 24/7 OB service, collaboration with CRNAs, diverse surgical cases (OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry), and call responsibilities. Regular rotations with two other anesthesiologists every 3 weeks, access to Epic EMR, and a community-focused health system. Strong patient-provider relationships and a collegial environment are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
