Job Summary
Physician – Anesthesiologist role in Norway, ME. Join a community hospital team within MaineHealth Stephens Hospital with a medical-direction model, collaborating with 3 CRNAs to manage 3 sites of service and call responsibilities. Diverse surgical services include OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry, with 24/7 OB service. The position supports regular rotations with two other anesthesiologists (1 in 3 weeks), access to advanced technology and Epic EMR, and a strong patient-provider relationship within a community health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
