Job Summary
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. Medical direction model collaborating with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service with call responsibilities. Provides anesthesia across diverse surgical specialties including OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry, with 24/7 OB service. Enjoy a collegial environment, access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR, and strong patient-provider relationships within a community health system. Anticipated schedule features regular rotations with 2 other anesthesiologists working 1 out of every 3 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
