Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Anesthesiologist sought to join MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. Responsibilities include medical direction with 3 CRNAs across 3 sites, 24/7 OB service, and regular rotations with 2 anesthesiologists (1 out of every 3 weeks). Collaborative management of diverse surgical cases (OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry) with access to Epic EMR. Strong patient-provider relationships within a community health system and a collegial work environment. Minimum qualifications include an MD/DO, Maine license (or ability to obtain), board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology, and DEA license (or ability to obtain). The position offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
