Job Summary
MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a community practice in Norway, Maine. The role involves medical direction with CRNAs across 3 sites, coverage for diverse surgical specialties (OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry), 24/7 OB service, and regular rotations with two other Anesthesiologists (1 out of every 3 weeks). The position uses a fully integrated Epic EMR, emphasizes strong patient-provider relationships, and supports a collaborative, well-staffed environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
