Job Summary
Anesthesiologist – MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible physician to join a collaborative anesthesia team. Medical direction model with 3 CRNAs across 3 sites, including call responsibilities. Diverse surgical cases (OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry) with 24/7 OB service. Work with experienced providers and Epic EMR in a community health system. Anticipated schedule includes regular rotations with two other Anesthesiologists, roughly 1 in 3 weeks. Eligible candidates should hold MD/DO, Maine medical license, Board Certification/Eligible, and DEA license. MaineHealth offers a Total Rewards package and a supportive work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
