Job Summary
Physician needed for 24-hour coverage at Hospitals of Providence Gateway-AP-Physician-0049 in El Paso, TX. Role requires residency training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; active TX medical license and DEA; board certification in EM or FM/IM; current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS; immunization compliance; and documentation of recent EM experience. Cerner EMR in use; duties include high-volume patient care in a 11-bed facility with 24-hour shifts. Alumni Healthcare Staffing provides travel/lodging support and malpractice coverage; scheduling and credentialing support available.
Required Qualifications
- Residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Active unrestricted TX state medical license and DEA with TX address & schedules
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
- ATLS, ACLS & PALS required (current)
- Immunization requirements: TB test within 12 months; Hep B; 2 MMR vaccines or titers; 2 Varicella vaccines or titers; Tdap within 10 years; Flu and Covid vaccines
- Evidence of EM/IM/FM experience within the past 2 years for EM/FM/IM
- CME attestation
- Malpractice coverage $1M/$3M
