Job Summary
The Clinical Staff Physician oversees the delivery of high-quality occupational healthcare. Responsibilities include direct patient care, managing clinicians and support staff, implementing clinical improvements, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering teamwork and patient safety. Requires MD or DO with unrestricted license, and 5-8 years in occupational medicine or urgent care preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.
- Unrestricted medical license in the state where employed
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- DEA required
- Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting preferred
Desired Qualifications
- BLS and AED Certified
- ACLS Certified
- NRCME Certified (DOT Medical Examiner) or willing to obtain
- Board certified or eligible by ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or medical board in the state of employment
- Preferred experience with electronic medical record application
