Job Summary
Physician in a Family Practice outpatient setting leading clinical care under CMO with oversight of clinical staff. Responsibilities include medical examination and evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, patient education, referrals for specialty services, maintaining confidential medical records, and implementing clinical protocols. Collaborates across departments to ensure smooth patient flow, supports EHR/EPM implementation, and provides medical back-up for mid-level practitioners. Requires flexible schedule including evenings/weekends; bilingual abilities (Spanish or Mandarin) desirable; must hold California Medical License and DEA Registration; Board eligibility/Certification in Family Practice required with a plan to become board-certified within 2 years.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- California Medical License (valid and current)
- Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice (If Board Eligible must become Board Certified within 2 years)
- DEA Registration
- Current Basic Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Pass pre-employment criminal background check
