Job Summary
Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system, including a minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable). Deliver quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate in Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials to advance patient care and research, while interacting with academic and basic science colleagues through faculty meetings, committee service, and grand rounds. Dedicate time to specialized clinics at the UPMC Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis Centers. Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification in Rheumatology (BC/BE)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
