Job Summary
Provide anesthesia care at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, specializing in pediatric, acute pain, liver transplant, and cardiac cases. Manage daylight coverage from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with in-house calls from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM and beeper calls from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Supervise CRNAs with a 2:1 concurrency target within a team of 40 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs. Maintain an academic appointment while participating in research through the NIH-funded Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center.
