Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic sign outs in one or two subspecialty areas within a high-volume practice performing over 5 million tests and 45,000 surgical pathology cases annually. Manage a robust Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology service handling 3,500 Bone Marrow and 6,000 Flow Cytometry cases yearly. Lead education and training for medical students, residents, and fellows while developing research projects aligned with personal interests within an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Required Qualifications
- MD, MD/Ph.D., DO or equivalent
- Board certified/board eligible in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology
- Fellowship training or experience in Hematopathology
- Eligibility for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Subspecialty training or experience in Hematopathology
- Strong commitment to education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Ability to develop research projects reflective of his/her own interests
