Job Summary
Evaluate medical conditions of employment candidates and current employees to determine ability to perform physical and psychological requirements of law enforcement and non-law enforcement duties. Review and compare medical reports against specialized job requirements, recommend and conduct medical examinations, and provide medical recommendations regarding appointment and full and limited duty work assignments. Assess effects of prescribed drugs on performance of duties and provide medical testimony in administrative proceedings when required. MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, serves as a healthcare staffing provider to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This part-time role is located at the Pennsylvania State Police Training Academy in Hershey.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted MD/DO Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain one
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
