PHYSICIAN (3636)

Conduct primary medical care, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, while interpreting laboratory and x-ray findings. Prescribe medication, perform minor surgical procedures, and provide medical supervision to assigned staff, including peer review of documentation. Lead clinical staff in a team-based practice model, direct preventive health programs such as immunization, and provide health consultation to community groups. Submit and complete documentation, coding, and billing functions in the electronic health record, adhering to security protocols and CVHS bylaws. Provide after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage in rotation with phone consultation or patient meetings. Maintain high standards of professional behavior and participate in quality assurance programs and committees. Schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call rotation; benefits include loan repayment eligibility, comprehensive health coverage, and tuition reimbursement.
