Physical Therapy Technician

The Technician is an unlicensed assistant who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist, assisting with patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and treatment areas, assisting/observing patients with prescribed therapy exercises, applying basic treatments (ice packs, heat pads), cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, laundering linens, and performing administrative tasks such as patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments. Requires excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills; duties support a service-based clinical culture focused on quality patient care.
