Physical Therapy Technician

Provide patient-focused support in a rehabilitation clinic under supervision. Responsibilities include answering patient questions, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, preparing paperwork and the clinical environment, maintaining medical records, coordinating with referrals and insurance to file claims and facilitate understanding of benefits, processing an exit questionnaire at discharge, and ensuring adherence to the plan of treatment. Skills include strong interpersonal communication, multi-tasking, confidentiality, attention to detail, time management, and open communication with staff, referral sources, and patients. Juggles multiple priorities and delivers quality customer service in a clinical setting.
